October New Moon Ceremony
October New Moon Ceremony
Sunday, October 27th
6:30pm to 9:30 pm
The Moon is an astonishing companion on this human journey. She both lights the way and invites us into darkness. Changing daily, she even disappears and then returns to her round brightness. She models the cycles of birth/life/death/rebirth.
It is important to experience the Moon both at her fullness and when she is dark, to more deeply understand our own selves. The New Moon is a time of initiation and new beginnings. It is the time to plant a seed of what you want to grow in your life. Making a wish, an intention, or a vow is a common custom. It is believed that as the Moon grows, that your intention or goal will too, usually by the time the Moon completes its cycle and returns full circle to new again.
Come sit in sacred circle in community with women, connect more deeply to yourself and your internal voice, be amidst a Greater Intelligence/Spirit and gain a deeper connection to the cycles of Nature. We do this inside of the Tipi through guided meditation, ritual, and various exercises designed to help us open to Life more deeply. This is a public gathering so you are welcome to share this with a friend.
$35 is the suggested donation. Please contact Amanda if you would like to give a different amount.
